Quiet city streets,

The silence of old alleyways—

An echo of footsteps.

Shadows of tall buildings,

Hurried faces—

A bird by a breadcrumb.

A crumbling wall,

Remnants of a faded poster—

A featureless face.

A bag at the station,

An ever-changing timetable—

An empty wooden bench.

The clamor of the markets,

Exposed colors of fruit—

Sweat on the brow.

A dark screen,

A silent phone—

A vibration in the pocket.

Factory smoke,

Sunset ashes on the horizon—

A bud between the cracks.

Rain on the windowpane,

Warmth of forgotten coffee—

The smell of untouched earth.

A warm, deserted nest.

Unceasing ticks—

Un oiseau près du morceau de pain.

Un mur délabré,

Les restes d'une affiche effacée—

Un visage sans traits.

Une valise dans la gare,

Un panneau d'affichages réactualisé—

Un banc de bois vide.

Le vacarme des marchés,

Les couleurs des fruits à découvert—

De la sueur sur le front.

Un écran sombre,

Un téléphone muet—

Une vibration dans la poche.

Un bourgeon entre les fissures.

**#صَدَى الأَقْدَام**

**أولاً: صَخَبُ المَدِينَةِ وَالعُزْلَة**

**1**

شَوَارِعُ المَدِينَةِ السَّاكِنَة،

صَمْتُ الأَزِقَّةِ القَدِيمَة—

صَدَى أَقْدَام.

**2**

ظِلاَلُ المَبَانِي العَالِيَة،

وُجُوهٌ مُسْتَعْجِلَة—

عُصْفُورٌ عِنْدَ الكِسْرَة.

**3**

جِدَارٌ مُتَدَاعٍ،

بَقَايَا مُلْصَقٍ مَمْحُوّ—

وَجْهٌ بِلاَ مَلاَمِح.

**4**

حَقِيبَةٌ فِي المَحَطَّة،

لَوْحَةُ مَوَاعِيدٍ مُتَجَدِّدَة—

مَقْعَدٌ خَشَبِيٌّ خَالٍ.

**5**

صَخَبُ الأَسْوَاق،

أَلْوَانُ الفَاكِهَةِ المَكْشُوفَة—

عَرَقٌ عَلَى الجَبِين.

**6**

شَاشَةٌ مُظْلِمَة،

هَاتِفٌ صَامِت—

اهْتِزَازٌ فِي الجَيْب.

**ثانياً: هَمْسُ الطَّبِيعَةِ وَالزَّمَن**

**7**

دُخَانُ المَصَانِع،

رَمَادُ الغُرُوبِ عَلَى الأُفُق—

بُرْعُمٌ بَيْنَ الشُّقُوق.

مَطَرٌ عَلَى الزُّجَاج،

دِفْءُ القَهْوَةِ المَنْسِيَّة—

رَائِحَةُ الأَرْضِ البِكْر.

**9**

صَفِيرُ الرِّيح،

أَوْرَاقُ خَرِيفٍ مَيِّتَة—

عُشٌّ دَافِئٌ مَهْجُور.

**10**

سَاعَةُ الحَائِط،

دَقَّاتٌ مُتَوَاصِلَة—

شَيْبٌ خَاطِفٌ فِي المِرْآة.
