#The Temple of My Dignity#
My dignity, like a temple, rises with pride,
Defying time, its vastness expands far and wide.
No treacherous hand can reach it, it's the truth inside,
Built by my arms of honor, my pride will never hide.
Adorned with rubies of glory, it shines like the sun,
And with coral of pride, where justice is won.
Compass of my soul, it guides without slumber,
A star that won't fade, a voice that sings without number.
"I am here, even if those in my heart have betrayed,
In life's journey, nothing stops me, I'm unafraid."
Then my presence, a veil of light that gleams bright,
A sharp sword for evil, whose tongue takes flight.
The arrows of betrayal cannot touch it, no,
Nor the hand of chaos push it, it's my emblem's glow.
An echo of my silence, a language for the loyal, so good,
A deep shadow of nobility, in its name, understood.
It casts its shadow on those who approach with malice,
Presence isn't a garment, but a vital chalice.
I care little for those who leave, who said their farewell,
They are dead branches fallen from a tree, where they fell.
No new branch for them has sprouted in my heart,
They are pages turned by time, playing no further part.
I pay no attention to their steps, my path is elsewhere,
In my dictionary of honor, the past holds no value there.
I let them go, as if they had never existed,
For a self-respecting soul bows only to truth and loyalty, unresisted.
This is who I am, drinking the cup of patience, its water blessed,
I light the candle of hope, each evening, light is expressed.
Yesterday's storms no longer stir anything, my heart doesn't tremble,
The voices of absence no longer grieve me, silence understands, it's humble.
In my silence, a solitude from which great strength springs to life,
In my solitude, self-sufficiency frees me from fleeting strife.
The days are guarantors to reveal the nature of souls,
So that dignity and presence remain, eternal lights, like coals.
They guide me on paths of honor, with no regret, justice ascends,
And where the departing have no place, my life is a book for immortals, it transcends.
